Derby Mayor’s Ball

We had a fabulous time at the Derby Mayor’s ball and donated 2 books to the Raffle there. Check out the Silver Mango site for more information on it and it was good to see that more than £15,000 was raised for the charity concerned.
Problem Buying the Book

Hi all,
We are very sorry but the implementation new security measures (Verified by Visa etc) seem to have caused a few problems if you try to buy the Derby gift book. Our web team and the PayPoint team are looking into this and we should have it fixed by tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon. We will update everyone as we know more. So please accept our apologies and bear with us while we fix this.
Many thanks,
The Unleashed Team

We have a new Twitter Feed – ‘CitiesUnleashed’ – This is because we have now launched a new city (Derby) and look forward to ‘unleashing’ many more on the world. Our Target in Derby is to raise over £60,000 for our charities and we look forward to doing this.
Hello world!

The Derby book is less than a week away, our 2nd city and our 2nd and 3rd charity, if we manage to sell out all the books, then we will raise over £60,000 for them to share and hopefully have enabled lots of people to find out more about them, the city that is Derby and the businesses who have given so generously.
The Derby Gift Book 2009/2010
Posted on November 20, 2009 at 3:43 pm
So it is almost ready, the first ever, Charity Unleashed, Derby Gift book, in aid of the Derby Mountain Rescue team and the Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre. The book contains over £1,000 worth of incredible products, everything from tickets to the Cricket and Football, to a meal at Anoki, a deluxe night at the Cathedral Quarter hotel and spa treatments at Sole Revival.
And it is true, you do not have to spend any money to use these vouchers, for once a voucher book that does NOT require you to spend money to use a voucher, is here. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us or check out the book we did for Sheffield on www.charityunleashed.co.uk .
What is the number 1 question?
Posted on July 3, 2009 at 2:49 pm
That’s an easy one. It is ‘ It is too good to be true, what is the catch?’
It is also the easiest and trickiest to answer. The simple answer, is that there is no catch. However we have all grown up in a world, where we are constantly told that there is no ‘free lunch’ and if something appears to be too good to be true, then it generally is. The important word is ‘generally’ because in this instance, this is an opportunity that is, that good and true.
So how do we persuade you that it is? well call us, check out the brands. This is not a book about us or from Charity Unleashed. This is a book made possible by Derby and the incredible people, businesses and charities in and around Derby. It truly is a book, by you, for you, from you.
